World War III

Slide_25_-_Gap_Explanation

While examining the daily news, it doesn’t take long to realize that we are living in the “Days of Noah” and in the “Days of Lot” - just as Jesus said we would in the days prior to His Second Coming:

And as it was in the days of Noe [Noah], so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30)

Also in the days of Noah’s Flood, the governments of the day were corrupt, and violence was raging throughout the earth:

The earth also was CORRUPT before God, and the earth was FILLED WITH VIOLENCE. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” (Gen 6:12-13)

With North Korea and Iran currently developing nuclear weapons combined with the testing of intercontinental ballistic missiles, it appears that a world war is not too far away. Superpowers such as Russia are also becoming edgy with certain NATO countries increasing their military capabilities on their borders; together with the long-running Syrian conflict that could turn very nasty anytime soon.

Regardless of what these nations are doing, the Middle East’s hatred of Israel continues to remain toxic. It is believed that the Psalm 83 War will be the flashpoint between Israel and her Arab neighbors that will start this prophesied war, as stated in the scriptures below:

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. 4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.” (Psalm 83:1-18)

The list below identifies the nations mentioned above in modern day terms as researched by Bill Salus, alhough the link provided above questions these claims:

  • Edom are today’s Palestinian refugees in Southern Jordan
  • Ishmaelites are today’s Saudi Arabians
  • Moab are today’s Palestinian refugees in Central Jordan
  • Hagarenes are today’s Egyptians
  • Gebal are today’s Hezbollah in Northern Lebanon
  • Ammon are today’s Palestinian refugees in Northern Jordan
  • Amalek are today’s Arabs, south of Israel
  • Philistia are today’s Hamas of the Gaza Strip
  • Tyre are today’s Hezbollah and Southern Lebanese
  • Assyria are today’s Syria and Northern Iraqi’s.

It is my belief that whatever the event is that triggers World War III, the Middle East will also erupt with war – and all Arab weapons will be directed towards Israel as Psalm 83 indicates. It is my understanding that Israel will be able to defend itself for a while, but as the war progresses they will need divine help. When God intervenes, the following passage of scripture will be fulfilled:

And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. 25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. 26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God” (Ezek 28:24)

I further believe that as the Psalm 83 War progresses, God’s fury against the Arabs will force them to vacate vast tracts of their lands in which to escape the terrors that God will inflict upon them, based upon the following passage of scripture.

Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired [Judah]; 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. 5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. 6 And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. 7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. 9 Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah [turned to ash – 2 Peter 2:5-6], even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. 10 This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts. 11 The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

12 Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword. 13 And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.

(Zeph 2:1-12)

Therefore, as God’s judgment overtakes vast areas of Arab lands for Israel to occupy - which extend as far northwards into Syria and Iraq (Nineveh) and as far southward into Ethiopia and eastwards into Jordan, the Arab’s only option to avoid the total loss of their lands will be to quickly negotiate a peace agreement with Israel.

It is my prediction that the United Nations will hurriedly appoint a peace envoy to negotiate and/or to confirm a peace agreement between the State of Israel and all Arab nations in their attempt to prevent further Arab lands from being lost. The man they appoint will be Satan’s son whom the Bible identifies as ‘the Antichrist’.

And he [the Antichrist] shall confirm the [peace] covenant with many [Arab nations and with Israel] for one week [7-years]: and in the midst of the [Tribulation] week he shall cause the [reintroduced Jewish] sacrifice and the oblation to cease [by breaking the covenant]…” (Dan 9:27)

I also believe that Albert Pike’s World War III statement that reveals extreme violence (perpetrated through anarchy) will occur worldwide.  This will involve massive bloodshed throughout most regions of the earth during World War III that will bring about the scene above.

When the Antichrist signs the peace covenant with Israel, he will also cause other wars and all of the civil violence in every nation to cease. Such an act will have many people say:

Who is like unto the beast?” (Rev 13:4)

Sadly, the majority of people will be fooled into believing he is their ‘messiah’ too, but Bible-believing Christians (the 'wise virgins') will not be fooled, and will be able to identify him as “the beast” by adding up the number of his name (Rev 13:18).

Towards the end of the Tribulation period, there will be a Jewish remnant occupying Israel that continually opposes Antichrist’s authority. As soon as the two witnesses are killed, the nations of the world decide (through God's provocation) to assemble their armies at Armageddon to make war with Israel and to finally destroy the Jewish nation - forever.

And he [God] gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.(Rev 16:16)

During the 30-day period between when the two witnesses are killed (1,260th day) and the 1,290th day, the Gog and Magog armies take this 30-day period to assemble their forces at Armageddon. The war commences against Israel on the 1,290th day:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee” (Ezek 38:1-6)

The modern-day nations involved in this war are shown below:

  • Gog is the leader of the Russian invasion of Israel.
  • Magog, Meshech, and Tubal comprise modern day Russia.
  • Persia is Iran, parts of northern Iraq, and Afghanistan.
  • Cush is Ethiopia and Sudan.
  • Put is Libya and will most likely include Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
  • Gomer is Eastern Germany.
  • Beth Togarmah is Turkey and Armenia.

Israel will do its best to defeat these armies but will eventually be overrun and all Jewish hope will be lost as Jerusalem falls to their enemies:

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle”. (Zech 14:2-3)

Forty five days after the battle commenced (or on the 1,335th day), Jesus Christ – the Jewish Messiah together with His armies in Heaven descend to the earth to save Israel:

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” (Rev 19:11)

It is at this point that every Jewish eye sees and finally appreciates that Jesus Christ is their Messiah – "the man" (John 19:5) whom their ancestors crucified on the cross.

Behold, he [Jesus] cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him [Jesus], and they also which pierced him [every Jew]: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Rev 1:7)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they [the Jews in Israel] shall look upon me [Jesus] whom they have pierced...(Zech 12:9-11)
